Yes, that means you Mr. A.K.... J/K
I just want to give a shout out to A.K. of Chicago Tribe for all his hard work and dedication to help make our YSS fundraisers a sucess. Like I have said before, it is truly up to all of us to keep the Chicago scene alive.
Time after time, I hear bboys say that our Chicago scene is dead. But when I ask them what they are doing to fix the situation, they can't say a thing.
Groups like YSS, along with the help of people like A.K., are truly putting Chicago on the map. They belive that Chicago is the greatest city in the U.S. and will to do anything to make sure that everyone knows it... and that's DOPE!
Big ups to the family!
Peace and One Love,
Check-It (Chicago Tribe) (Check-It Productions) (No Illusions Clothing) (Youth Struggling for Survival)

So, I was looking for a way to contact a member of the group but I couldn't find one. I figured I'd post something on here a ver que pasa. I'm a student at Knox College near Peoria, Illinois, where I am social chair for the Lo Nuestro--the Latino Organization on campus. Each year we hold a week long celebration that we call Latino Pride Week. This year it appears that it will be the 1st week of May. I've been looking online for a dance group to bring in, and I came across this page. I don't know if ya'll would do a visit like this or what, but if someone could please get in touch with me, I'd appreciate it. I'm a Latina, born in Chicago and raised in Cicero. This is a small, college filled with people from small towns. I would like the opportunity to expose them to everything that our cultures stand for. Hopefully you can help me do so.
